i'm not sure what this means relal,y i'v just heard a lot of gfxers tell me to use them and i dont know how.

I know this isn't exactly a tut but I looked around using the Search tool but could not find what exactlya Render is or how it affects a piece or in fact I don't know what half of the things are. Is there a guide I might have missed here or another site I might go to learn everything??

A render is really just a picture. and you could check good-tutorials.com for other stuff or one of the stickies .

How about a tutorial on lighting effects, filters, and other ways to make your sig stand out. Im horrible with lighting and filters and can never seem to do anything well using them.
