BannedStory Tutorial: How to make a custom item work

this guide is for bannedstory (downloadable here)

for those who dont know what it is, it is a maplestory character generator

remember to download the patch as well

basically, many people have made custom images on the bannedstory forum where you can download them and use it in your bannedstory program

however, it is very confusing and so this guide is here to sort things out

to start with, you must have 2 things: the folder with the images in (normally downloadable in .rar form or zipped), and the code (this should be given under the folder download link)

first, copy the folder and go to:
my computer > local disk > program files > bannedstory > custom > character, then paste the folder into the appropriate folder

then for the code
copy the code and go to:
my computer > local disk > program files > bannedstory > charsimdata > custom, then open the appropriate .xml file in notepad, and paste it in under where instructed, and save it

now you can open up bannedstory, and the custom item will be there in the beginner section if it is an equiptment, or under hair or face if it is a custom hair or eyes

Um i will try after, but why is it when i install it over half way through i get a winrar error?

the program is insanely big, it has loads of images (mabye a million), so check that you have space before you continue

Uh thanks, i got it to work, now i can make better animated sigs and flash things lol.
