To be eligible for Level II access, you must be a Level I member who has been registered on Neofreaks for over 1 month.
What is Level II?
Level II is the highest non-staff level on Neofreaks. Level II members gain access to special programs and their Level II status shows they are to be respected in the forums. Simply put: to some, it is gaining better programs; to others, it is gaining respect and being able to show that you are trusted. It is often a mixture of the two.
How do I apply for Level II?
You should apply for Level II by filling out the form here.
Content:I made a mistake on my Level II application! Help!
- Your real name
- Please include your real first name (optionally last name). As a Level II, we like to know your name simply out of politeness.
- Age
- Again, out of politeness we like to know your age. Being young does not hurt your chances in an application whatsoever.
- Hobbies
- Yet again, we simply like to know a bit about you.
- Activity on Neofreaks
- How active are you on Neofreaks? How many hours a day/week do you go on? What areas of Neofreaks do you frequent? Level II members should be active and helpful around the community.
- Why should you be Level II?
- List the reasons for which you feel you should be Level II. What have you contributed to the community? This is the most important of the fields, try to make it good.
You can ask any staff member to annul your application and you will be able to resubmit it immediately afterwards. Please check your application thoroughly before submitting it nonetheless. It is also advisable to save your application in case there is a problem.
How do I get into Level II after that?
After you have posted your application, all staff are required to vote (those with the moderator usergroup icon, super moderator usergroup icon, or administrator icon). You must receive yeses from all active staff. Staff are considered active at any administrator's discretion. The vote will be done privately.
How do I know if I got in to Level II?
Once all active staff members have voted or you receive a 'no' vote, you will receive a private message regarding the result of your application. You will know when you have been made Level II by the ability to view a private Level II forum. You will be given the colour of the Level II usergroup (non-bold purple, at the time of writing) and the Level II usergroup icon.
What if I didn't get in?
If you did not get in, you will remain in the same usergroup as before. You must then wait two weeks until your next application will be considered.
A staff member is not voting on my application*
If a staff member is not voting, please do not private message him/her. They are busy and will deal with your application when they have time. If they are considered inactive as aforementioned, their vote is not required. If they are considered active and have not posted on your application, you should consider it that the staff member is waiting a few days as they do not wish to say no but are not sufficiently satisfied to say yes. Please do not bump your application.
I have been accepted but have not yet been made Level II*
You will be made Level II by an administrator. This may take a while. Please do not private message an administrator. They will do it when they are ready.
* - No longer applicable.
