Keeping up with my school work for once, enjoying college more than I thought possible, and figuring out what I want from life.

Half-way done with college. At this rate I'll be done a semester early. I've completed three field experiences in classrooms so far, and I've made some incredible connections. I wrote a term paper last semester on Euler's Calculus Differentialis which has been going around. My professor sent it to the head of the math department (who I've become pretty close with), and he sent it to the math chair at the local research university, who wants to meet with me soon.

Returned to theatre last semester as Moritz in Spring Awakening. The department picked crappy shows this semester so I didn't even bother.

Uhh. I've lost around 30 pounds. I started in around November-ish. I didn't really have a clear "okay I'm starting today" moment... just sort of happened. So yeah. Still going with that. I'm taking a for-credit class in lifestyle change, as well as a for-credit yoga class which is so much fun.

Yeah that's pretty much it. Life is boring man.

Oh, and I made first chair violin in symphony orchestra. Bitchin.

Second semester of college, starting to finally gain weight. I'm at 150 now, I was 130 when I got to school in August. Going to the gym, still trying to get used to the way college works though. Other than that having a blast! I love the people at my school.

Still going to school, but not really liking it. I have never been a school kind of person. I started my own business (well co-owner) and we got all that stuff finalized and legal. Waiting on the goods to come in and we will primarily sell on eBay and Amazon. Has to do with trading cards and electronics. Once we get more money in we will branch out to more trading card games and board games and collectables and just more stuff in general. Looking to make about $150 a day in profit here somewhat shortly but then that will slow down when we need to get more stock . Sucks at first cause you obviously need a large stock and order like when you have 10-12 days left to replenish but since shit costs money kind of have to sell this stuff and then use the profits to buy even more and then go from there. We are going to apply for a business credit card hopefully next week so if we can then we can bypass the whole waiting thing. We are hoping by the end of this year to possibly have a store open in our area, but not sure yet. If all of this goes well by the time August rolls around and I am making 3-4k a month then I will probably leave school. You can get a big 2 br/2 bath apt here for like $850 and I would rather focus on my business if it is taking off. If by August we are doing well but not well enough to leave I will go back for the fall semester and re-evaulate the situation during winter break. I always knew I wanted to own my own business someday anyways and the worthless degree I am enrolled in won't ever be helpful. The only reason I stay is because the government pays like all but $400 a semester for me at 15 credit hours so why not just go.

I've been working out a lot lately (nothing special, just some cardio and yoga) and been very strict with my diet. I'm slowly transitioning to a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle and probably will become a full vegan once I move out of my parents house.

Nothing much interesting has been going on in my life, everything is just really a blur of hazy days. I'm in vocational school for graphic design though and it's going superbly well. I still need to find an internship to apply to over the summer so I can get some work experience and maybe some $$$.

I'm also in a pickle regarding with my life after high school, I don't know if I want to go to RISD right away or take a year off and do whatever I want. Maybe some travelling and do various jobs in different countries.
Or move to Europe, live there and go to an art institute. I know that my parents will not like this option but I don't care... If it's viable then I will definitely be up for it.
Or just stay here in the states, maybe go to Boston (Mass Art) or New York City (Pratt, Parsons). Decisions, decisions.
The most realistic option is probably go to community college for two years, transfer to a college of my choice and let them pay for my loans. I won't mind the community college that much and it'll give me time to ease into the adult life: living in an apartment with my friends, doing shit for myself, etc.

That also reminds me that I will be going to England, Ireland, and Wales over spring break, extremely excited for this. And maybe I will even get to go to Portugal over summer and meet my distant family in the Azores.

It would start immediately and end whenever. I'm studying Biochem so it's a really great experience for me. But I'm still thinking about med-school so I'm going to Peru during spring break to work at a mobile health clinic to see if that'll entice me or not. If I love it or hate it, I'll still be able to practice my Spanish so

Well I'm treasurer of my fraternity, managing a $250,000 budget. Which is pretty neat because I have a hand in basically everything we do and I'm the guy that says yes or no. As far as school, I'm in a very hellish semester of 16 hours with all of my classes being especially rigorous. I'm kind of in a cross roads as far as my career. I'm not entirely set on medical school so I'm debating if I should even continue my class in organic chemistry which is making my workload a little bit too much as of right now. The thing is, I could just get a masters in nuclear medicine and bypass the whole medical school thing. I just don't really know what I want do, and even if nuclear is for me (even though I'm too far into it now). But really, school altogether is really starting to beat me down. I feel like I'm finally getting older and that I should be working soon, but if I want to do medicine I still have a ton of class to go. But at the same time, I'm not even 21 so it's not like I'm even that old yet. Also, I need to buckle down and really start working on school before I fall behind. I've always been a perfectionist and as of late my grades have not reflected my ambitions.

As far as girls: I don't know if this is just me but I've always found myself in this paradox. The girls that I'm into and would potentially want to date really aren't all that in to me, and then there are girls that I basically shun who are on the complete opposite. I'm at the point where I actually want to date a girl, which is like the first time since high school. I feel like it would help me calm down a bit as I still party as much as all the new guys. But I'm grown up....kind of.
